Setup note: initial single-branch shallow clone narrowed remote.origin.fetch to master. Numeric checkout initially failed to set upstream; restoring standard +refs/heads/*:refs/remotes/origin/* resolved it without app changes.

Blacksmith: vp run check:changed github/main passed format, lint, both knip checks, 10 package typechecks and 30 tests in two existing files. New shared validator assertion failed before fix.
