Both checkouts: vp i, background vp run dev, then real Node SEA executable builds via Blacksmith.
Client built with supported APP_VERSION=0.1.7 to expose version skew against server 0.1.6. No mocked descriptors/responses.

Main, executable invoked through /tmp/launcher-check/bin/t3 symlink:
