Controlled slow-cleanup reproduction (syscall results unchanged):
Main: strace attached to existing server threads, inject=rmdir:delay_enter=100s:when=1.
PR: strace -f attached to server with -P <actual validation directory>, inject=rmdir:delay_enter=100s:when=1. This holds the cleanup child's actual rmdir for 100 seconds without delaying unrelated paths.
These timings describe the diagnostic condition, not normal filesystem performance.
