PR warm reconnects returned metadata without a new ssh/tailscale scan.
PR reconnects after 60-second expiry returned cached metadata and started a refresh.
DirectEndpoints.resolve still ran per config; this host correctly advertised [].
Both advertised file-manager, reveal kind files, and an mDNS SSH target.

Installed an actual VS Code distribution (code --version: 1.144.0) on PATH.
First expired-cache snapshot retained [file-manager].
A later reconnect advertised [vscode, file-manager]; the UI editor menu showed VS Code.
Existing subscriptions did not immediately receive this background refresh.
This verifies eventual refresh, not a guarantee of visible updates within exactly one TTL.

No broad performance claim is made from this unloaded local host.
