Discussion read: contributor reports macOS Squirrel probe runs reproducing unpinned
rename/relaunch failure and successful pinned stable/nightly/stable relaunches.
That is contributor evidence, not reproduced in this run, and uses a minimal probe,
not the real signed/notarized T3 application.

Result: unverifiable on this Linux VM. No changed runtime behavior exercised.
No main reproduction, worktree, installs, dev server, browser/provider turns,
packaging, local tests, code changes, or pushes performed.
A web dev session cannot run the macOS production updater.
Required: actual packaged T3 macOS update through real feed, relaunch, channel
round trip, display labels, Dock launch, Connect reconnect, real Codex turn.
