Setup: separate ../main worktree; vp i in both checkouts.
One dev server at a time; main stopped before PR startup.
Playwright 1.60.0 + /usr/bin/google-chrome, actual web client.
Project added through app to /home/user/t3code; new threads and real
Codex gpt-6.1-sol turns submitted through the message composer.
No mock provider, fixture database, or demo data.

Command workload: git ls-files, first 20,000 real tracked paths;
Node streams numbered paths with green ANSI checkmarks, 2ms interval.
Provider invoked exec_command and polled the real subprocess to completion.

main result: STREAM-END lines=20000 elapsed_ms=42977, exit 0.
PR result:   STREAM-END lines=20000 elapsed_ms=42319, exit 0.
Both retained the final tail and showed Earlier output not shown.

Live server V8 CPU profiles, 100us requested sampling interval:

Single run per version, same workload shape. The path lists reflect each
checkout. These are sampled CPU costs, not an end-to-end speed guarantee.
The intentional producer delay dominates total command duration.

PR websocket observation during stream: 204 append frames, 2 replace frames.
Collapsed/reopened while running; output resumed with truncation notice.
Reloaded after completion and reopened; full inspector text was identical
before/after reload (57,838 plain-text characters including command header).
Final marker, green checkmarks, and Unicode remained intact.

Neighbor command through same Codex/client path:
split ANSI sequence; 80,000-character red line plus emoji; carriage-return
and erase-line progress updates; blue final marker.
Visible output length: 65,521 characters.
Final text: [retained red z characters] emoji, progress 100%, NEIGHBOR-END checkmark.
No stale progress 25%, 50%, or 75% remained. Red retained tail and blue final
marker styles were inspected in rendered DOM.

Blacksmith existing focused checks:

Not verified: native mobile, Electron shell, macOS/Windows, other providers,
remote relay/tunnel, heap allocation reduction, statistically repeated timings.
